Hook and Loop fasteners, often referred to as Velcro, offer a versatile closure system composed of two distinct layers: the Hook side and the Loop side. These layers, when pressed together, create a semi-permanent bond. The Hook side is made up of a fabric layer adorned with tiny hooks, while the Loop side consists of looped fibres that securely grip and become stronger when subjected to vibrations. Hook & Loop fasteners are available in various styles. They can come with an adhesive backing in the form of strips or circular pieces (coin style). Alternatively, there's a sew-on style designed for applications involving clothing and fabric. The benefits of using Hook & Loop fasteners are numerous. They can be engaged and disengaged thousands of times without losing their effectiveness. Unlike metal closures, they are immune to rust and noise, making them ideal for quiet environments. Available primarily in black or white. Furthermore, these fasteners can withstand extreme temperatures, adding to their reliability and adaptability.
