Cryovac® D940 Soft Shrink Film is a highly versatile film designed with low "shrink energy," meaning it wraps products without causing buckling, distortion, or bending. This gentle shrink capability is ideal for even the most challenging wrapping items. The D940 film shrinks packages distortion-free at low temperatures, eliminating the need for corrugated cardboard or chipboard inserts for smaller, unsupported products like stationery, bedding, and gift wrap. Despite its gentle nature, the D940 shrink film conforms perfectly to your products, offering optimal clarity and an appealing presentation.

Made from a multi-layered co-extruded polyolefin, the D940 film has excellent machineability on all automatic equipment and produces high-integrity heat seals. The CRYOVAC® D940, soft shrink films, provide a balance of strength, performance, and affordability. They are ideal for high-speed operations and can be used with lightweight, flexible, and oddly shaped products to prevent buckling or the formation of "dog ears."
