Water Activated starch based adhesive tapes are 100% environmentally friendly creating a superior bond to clear carton sealing tape, it makes a pilfer proof package for your product. The gum tape is activated by contact with water, which moistens the glue based adhesive on the paper backing. Water Activated Tape or gummed tape can be reinforced with a cross pattern of fibreglass filaments laminated between two layers of paper, and is called Reinforced Water Activated Tape.

Our water activated kraft gum tapes are 100% ecological, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Kraft paper is a natural product with the glue produced from potato starch.
