Water-activated starch-based adhesive tapes are an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional clear carton sealing tapes, providing a superior bond and creating a tamper-evident seal for your packages. The adhesive is activated by water, which moistens the glue-based backing on the paper to ensure a secure hold.

For added strength, Water-Activated Tape—also known as gummed tape—can be reinforced with a cross-pattern of fiberglass filaments laminated between two layers of paper. This version is called Reinforced Water-Activated Tape.

Our water-activated kraft gum tapes are 100% biodegradable, ecological, and environmentally friendly. Made from natural kraft paper with an adhesive derived from potato starch, they offer a sustainable packaging solution without compromising performance.
