About Shrink Sleeves and How to Order Them

Shrink sleeves (also known as tamper seals) are a plastic PVC tamper proof seal that surrounds the tops of bottles or jars. Their purpose is to provide a tamper evident seal that imparts peace of mind to the consumer that the product has remained safe and secure whilst displayed on a shelf. They are not purposeful in providing a seal on a jar or bottle to avoid leakage.

Shrink sleeves are commonly used in the food and beverage industry, but also in pharmaceuticals and general consumables market. They are extremely simple to apply by hand and apply heat using a heat shrink gun. The heat allows the sleeve to shrink over the product leaving a snug fit.

All shrink sleeves are:

  • 50um
  • Available in a large range of diameters
  • Available as either perforated or non-perforated
  • Available in black or clear
  • Custom printing can be arranged

Get Packed produces shrink sleeves in house and custom cuts them to size as well as adding perforations when requested.
