Cello bags and Cellosheets or rolls are made from cellulose a naturally occurring product. Cellophane is a 90% biodegradable product making it the environmentally friendly packaging alternative to man-made polymers which are largely derived from petroleum. Cello is a a thin transparent sheet made from regenerated cellulose such as wood, cotton or even hemp. Cellophane bags or cello is one of the world’s oldest transparent packaging products and is great for packing gift cards, lollies, or baked items such as biscuits as it has a low permeabilty to air.
